Annual Ice or No Ice Fishing Contest at Emerson Lake a Huge Success!

The Annual Ice or No Ice Fishing Contest at Emerson Lake on April 8th was a huge success! With perfect weather and great ice, it turned out to be the perfect spring day. From 12 noon to 3 PM, the event saw great participation, friendly competition, and amazing community support.

Thanks to the hard work of volunteers, sponsors, and donors, the event raised around $17,000, making it one of the most successful fishing contests to date. This wouldn’t have been possible without the generous contributions of over 70 donors who provided hundreds of gifts, door prizes, and raffle items. A huge thank you to everyone who donated! You can see the full list of donors here.

We also encourage everyone to continue showing their support by spending money whenever possible with the local vendors who donated to make this event such a success. By supporting these businesses, we help keep the community strong and thriving.

A big shoutout also goes to all the Club Members, Ladies Auxiliary, WHTL Radio, High School Students, and Volunteers from County Line Fire and Rescue. Your hard work and dedication helped make this event run smoothly. Thanks to all of you, we were able to donate $8,000 of the proceeds to County Line Fire and Rescue as a way to show our appreciation for their continued service to the community.

We can’t wait for next year’s event and hope to see even more anglers, donors, and community members join us for another unforgettable day. Thank you again to everyone who helped make this year’s Ice or No Ice Fishing Contest such a success!
